NPCs

WE WOULD LIKE TO OFFICIALLY AND UNCEREMONIOUSLY ANNOUNCE that we are going to be having people play NPCs that are actually little planets. These will be NPCs ssssort in the SabraatherthusiaEC flavor in that they should have a little more power than characters but will also be beholden to certain ~rules~. You won’t have any big, spoilery over-arcing plot that you need to be in on, nor do we intend it to be a Big, Serious Business Commitment. If you are interested in such a thing please to email the mods.

Questions in this plurk will likely be answered by smiley faces.

PLAYER PLOTS (like canon weekends and such!)

We really, really want to encourage players to run their own plots and events! Have a big dumb idea that you think would be fun? Go for it! If you think it's something that should REALLY be cleared with someone first, run it by the mods, but generally we want people to feel pretty free to Do Their Own Thing. Included and encouraged in this are things like planned event weekends where everyone who feels like growing cat ears and having magic wordbattles can do so, or everyone gets Pokemon or turns into magical girls or whatever.

Feel free to barf ideas for events you'd like to see in WS HERE, so that everyone can agree on how cool you are for thinking of it, and get super psyched.

If it feels awk, we can even arrange some IC mechanic or excuse for these things to happen, but we really really really want people to feel like they can pull shit out of any orifice their heart tells them.

MOD PLOTS AND STUFF

I don’t think this one is really too necessary for discussy. There probably will, at some point, be big shake-up plots run by the mods but frankly we see no need for them at the moment.

I guess really you can also talk about mod NPCing and mod control of the environment. How much do you like? Are you enjoying the NPCing so far? What’s up?

Basically for all that I am happy to be a sharktopus with moe glowing creation in its tummy, we also want folks to feel like they can spin up dumb shit whenever they want. You are welcome to pantomime or even handwave stuff.

Also we would love to see more folks here, esp folks that we might not have played with before!! But also we... don’t know how the kids advertize their games these days besides encouraging people to replurk mod plurks.

We’re not so keen on the frequenting-the-anon-memes crowd. Are there any other watering holes where ye olde pretendy funtimers assemble? If so please let us know so that we can show up and sparkle over everything.

Chrome is throwing a small fit every time I try to journalswap, so no mod journal for you.

But yeeesss ATP is an option we have discussed! I think the next one is going up... next weekend? Maybe? I'm not sure how often their posts cycle, but I guess this is a self-reminder to make sure we have a decent looking ad ready and stuff. IDK my BFF DW coding.
